GEC Opens Northeast Office
October 2007 – GEC announces the opening of a new office in Lowell,
Massachusetts. The new office is located at the historic
Boott Cotton Mills, a textile mill on the Merrimack River that played
a significant role during the Industrial Revolution. The office will be staffed by a combination of long-time employees from the Seattle office
and recent East-Coast hires.
Recognized as international leaders in wind energy technology, Global Energy Concepts staff have also conducted technical and economic studies involving solar, cogeneration, hydroelectric, geothermal, biomass, and ocean technologies -- serving both utility-scale and small-scale applications. GEC is an accredited test institute for wind turbine power performance testing.
